Superman Going to Game 6 as Clark Kent

After being allowed to finish game 5 and leading the magic to a crucial series defining victory, the NBA has announced that the man known as Superman will be sitting out game 6. Dwight Howard will be forced to put on his suit and tie and watch from the bench as his teammates try to close out the series without him.

Wow talk about a terrible situation for both the Magic and Howard. Howard’s airball elbow directed at Sammy D is going to cost the big man huge. Forget about the $125, 073 game check he’s missing out on. That’s completely irrelevant. He’s basically guaranteed that this series will go 7 games. If you look at the history of game 7’s, the favorite’s are only 50% winners, meaning anything can happen in game 7. If the Magic were to lose two straight and surrender the series to the Sixers, than the image planted in Orlando fans for the rest of the summer will not be a dunk or a title, but rather Dwight in Street close, looking more like Clark Kent than Superman.

I wonder if Dwight is sitting at home right now wishing that the elbow he threw knocked Sammy D out? If I was giving up a playoff game and 125k for an elbow, I would sure hope I connected.

I don’t even need to read the article. The headline was worth the price of admission
