Since we started our site just over a year ago, Flagrant Fouls TV has had the pleasure of showing you highlights from some of the best high school video editors in the world.  It's added such enormous value to our site that we felt a celebration was in order.  But how would we introduce our fans and readers to all the video production companies who film high school basketball across the globe?  We felt the best way was to have a contest which allows fans to decide which high school mix tape is the best of all-time !!!  Watch the videos, vote below, and check back Friday at 4pm to see which video was crowned ULTIMATE HIGH SCHOOL MIX TAPE.

The following video production companies are hoping their mixtape is voted

Based out of Southern Califormia,  BALLISLIFE has quickly emerged as a giant in the industry.  Founded in May of 2005 and operated by Matt Rodriguez and Arek Kissoyan, their videos have been viewed on youtube more than 15 million times.  Their partnership with SLAM Magazine has made BALLISLIFE more than just a company … it's a movement.  Will their mix be good enough to win the ULTIMATE HIGH SCHOOL MIX TAPE ?  They hope that this video of current Toronto Raptor and former Compton High standout DeMar DeRozan dazzles our viewers and get's it done !!!!

Webb Wellman and Dev Ryan form the Dream Team at One Entertainment Hoops.  Based out of North Carolina, they got their start at the 2008 Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions.   Since then, Webb and Dev have become staples in the North Carolina basketball community, filming high school sensations such as John Wall, CJ Leslie, JT Terrell, Quincy Miller, Deuce Bello, and Rodney Purvis.  If you don't like their mixes, Quincy Miller has a message for you !!!  He encourages you to visit his website at www.get-a-bucket.com .   Dev and Webb began filming John Wall in the summer of 2008 and followed him everywhere he went both with D-One Sports and Word of God Academy.  They've submitted their ULTIMATE JOHN WALL MIX TAPE in hopes that it becomes known as the greatest high school mix of all-time !!!

Based out of the Bay Area, Travis Farris is the king of video production in Northern Cali.  He started YAYAREASFINEST in 2005 and on top of having more than 4 million video views, he's also produced three bad ass DVD's.  Since you can often find Travis on the AAU circuit travelling with the Oakland Soldiers, it's no surprise he chose this mix of Soldiers point guard, Kiwi Gardner.

As the host of this contest we felt it would only be right if we submitted an entry.  As a Canadian based web site we felt it only made sense to go with a mix of the #1 Canadian in the Class of 2011, Myck Kabongo.  The highlights are from the All-Canada Classic held annually at The Air Canada Center.  Myck scored 41 points, took home MVP, and showed his family and friends in attendance why many call him the fastest point guard in the land.

Crusader 22 Productions has been around since September of 2005.  Based out of Connecticut, Adam Rubin has produced more than 100 videos this year for presentation to college coaches.  Like most of the other video production companies, Adam chose to go with a guy in his area…. 2012 sensation Andre Drummond.  Check out Volume 2 of the Official Andre Drummond Mixtape !!!

Based out of Illinois, Daniel Poneman has been scouting local talent since the age of 16.  Creator of Illinoishsbasketball.com, Daniel has become one of the most informed minds on Illinois high school talent.  He's been featured on ABC, Comcast,  and Sportds Illustrated.  His newest project, SWAGair will be a national website which covers recruiting throughout the entire country.   His video interviews and highlights have been all over youtube and facebook, helping Poneman turn himself into a brand. His entry in our contest is a highlight package on Deandre McCamey, called "Down but Never Out".

CROWN brings you the latest and finest in Canadian high school basketball. Founded in 2008, Gilbert Muako and his team focus on the progress and exposure of rising basketball players in Canada. CROWN serves as a platform for young and talented athletes to gain recognition, using their magazine, website, and recruiting videos as avenues to help Canadian athletes receive increased exposure.   CROWN is dedicated to giving sports fans a look into Canada's prospective talent, and of course chose this mix on Canadian and Findlay Prep power forward Anthony Bennett, filmed at the B-Game camp in Toronto this summer.

The newest video production company on the scene proved this summer that they won't be out worked.  Based out of Minnesota, Bryan Kriss launched Hardwood Elite in July and he's already making waves in the industry.  He's got people stationed in NYC and Los Angeles, ensuring no stone is left unturned.  Check out his mix on 2013 Princeton Day Academy guard Chris Thomas.

Terrell Gregory started doing video production in 2007 in order to help his brother get increased exposure.  As his passion grew, he began to take his work more and more seriously.   Based out of Virginia, it's only fitting that Terrell chose his mix on Boo WIlliams power forward James McAdoo to represent Meet Me at the Rim.  Will it be enough to be named ULTIMATE HIGH SCHOOL MIX TAPE ??? Time will tell….

Ty Kish has been making highlights in the Columbus, Ohio area since 2000.  Recently, he's expanded his craft and begun to put City League Hoops TV on a national stage, touring the country and leaving his state.  He's hoping his mix of Wisconsin Playground Warriors small forward JP Tokoto is enough to make his mark on the competition and be named greatest mixtape of all-time !!

PlaytotheCrowd is a brand new video production company founded in 2010 that covers high school sporting events around Canada. They are based in the Greater Toronto Area and specialize in but are not limited to basketball and football.  The highlight package they've submitted is of Anthony Bennett at the B-Game Camp in Toronto.

I’ve been trying to get Nils on the phone for days and haven’t been able to reach him. Obviously respect the heck out of him and consider him a friend. Would have loved to have had him in this, but my man didn’t hit me back. Those are the breaks !!!
