Kyrie accomplished something very few have done before him; He had success in a head to head matchup vs. Cory Joseph. He showed a phenomenal ability to play the pick and roll, both by attacking the rim and by burying the three point shot when the defender went under the screener. He was dynamite in transition, showed the ability to score off the ball, and made big plays down the stretch. Unfortunately for Kyrie, with the world watching he had the chance to send the game to overtime and was only able to make one of his two free throws. Regardless it was a great performance against the best defender in the country.
