The best prospect in the gym on day one was without a doubt Nick Madray. He has such fluid movement for a 6-8 big man it's scary. He made multiple three's, made turn around jumpers in the post, and did a good job keeping Stephen Lewis in the game vs. Richview down the stretch. He has a long way to go in terms of understanding spacing, rotations, and how to use his skill set to better affect the game. If you are evaluating strictly on skill level, he's just tremendous. He's our 4th ranked prospect in the class of 2013 right now and if I had to guess, I'd say there's a good chance he'll surpass some of the guys ahead of him over the next few years.
Nick is a very intriguing prospect. He's very skilled and has great size for his postion and age. He displayed soft touch, good hands, and moved well laterally in the 2-1-2. While he needs to do a better job getting tough and rebounding his area, his skill level is certainly there to be a terrific long term prospect. He can shoot it, does a good job running the floor, and is tracking to become a highly skilled hybrid four man.
