With Jermaine Myers leaving the team to play with Indiana Elite, coach Mike George went out and found 6-2 point guard Jarryn Skeete to run his team and keep his high major front court happy. Jarryn exceeded all expectations and proved he's the exact floor general they've lacked while chasing a championship all spring. He fed the post and ensured the offense went through its 7-4 centerpiece, he pushed tempo and led the break to get the most out of Anthony Bennett's ability to finish in transition. He used Juwan Brescacin in the high post to initiate the high-low, and found his guards wide open for three due to his ability to get in the gaps. Simply put he guided his squad to it's first championship of the summer and made it easy for his teammates to find success doing the things they do best.
