Kabongo Opens Up His Recruitment

Posted on 31. Oct, 2010 by Nolan Shulman in Canada Spotlight, High School

The #1 point guard in our nation made waves last night when he decided to re-open his recruitment and allow other teams back in the mix.  After committing to Texas in January of 2009, Myck Kabongo decided to step away from his verbal pledge and allow other schools to recruit him.

While Myck said he won't open it back up to everyone, he will consider Syracuse, Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, as well as Texas.

While Myck may receive some criticism for this decision, let's remember what a great ambassador he's been for all Canadians.  He approaches the game with a contagious attitude and has been someone kids in our country can look up to in the way he handles himself off the court.  We wish Myck all the luck in the world as he dives back into the process and know he'll make us proud wherever he ends up.

The #1 Canadian in the class of 2011 is back on the market !!!
