Grandy Glaze Opens It Up After Coaching Change

Posted on 21. Apr, 2011 by Nolan Shulman in Canada Spotlight, High School, Tournaments

After evaluating his options over the last few weeks, Notre Dame Prep 6-6 forward Grandy Glaze has decided to open up his recruitment.  In light of UNLV head coach Lon Kruger stepping down and accepting the same position at Oklahoma, Grandy felt it was best to see what other opportunities were out there for him.

According to Grandy's AAU coach Mike George (CIA Bounce/Team Takeover Canada), "Grandy had developed a great relationship with all the coaches at UNLV.  With the head coach as well as all the assistants moving on, Grandy felt it was in his best interest and the best interest of UNLV if he explored some of his other options."

Grandy is an extremely tough and hard nosed player.  His motor never stops running, he's willing and capable of chasing rebounds outside of his area, and he has a nose for the basketball.  Grandy is one of the top Canadian prospects remaining on the board and was recently selected a finalist for June's All-Canada Classic.
